- Choosing to have my children solo after years spent dreaming of a family is life-altering to say the least. Reality as a single mother of two sons is messier, more difficult and infinitely more wonderful than I imagined. The title of my blog comes from the song, Hats! by Amy Grant.
I love the Fallen Princess series! I love Disney so it freaked me out at first, but I think it's important for people to realize life isn't a fairy tale and there's a lot that goes on after "happily ever after".
ReplyDeleteHave you heard of Once Upon a Marigold? I think it's in the youth section at my library...not YA, but it's cute because it's a new kind of fairy tale but in the second book you get to see what happens after their supposed happily-ever-after. It's a sweet story. :)
